Scope and Topics
Submissions are welcome across a broad range of fields related to transportation systems analysis and transportation science. A full call for papers will be posted with hEART 2026. The categories include, but are not limited to:

- Submissions site opens: 15 February 2026
- Submissions due: 30 March 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 15 June 2026
- Early-bird registration due: 10 August 2026
Submissions
Short papers of 2,000-3,000 words are invited for submission. Submissions will be reviewed by members of the scientific committee. The short papers should clearly state the research goals, elaborate methods, and discuss the results to allow the scientific committee to assess their quality. We favour completed research that already provides clear and well-established conclusions.
Only original contributions are considered for presentation at the conference.
A maximum of one presentation is allowed per person registered for the conference.
Submissions are to be written in English and should be submitted electronically using the Easychair portal (Open soon!). All submissions must be relevant to the conference topics. Authors will be asked to select the themes from the topic list that best suit their submission. Please upload your short paper as a PDF file and name it as follows: “last name_first name_hEART2026”.
