Within the “targeted” component of France 2030, known as “Financing Strategic Investments,” one initiative is dedicated to funding the most fundamental research (TRL 1 to 4): Priority Research Programs and Equipment (PEPR).
Within this framework, IFP Energies nouvelles and Gustave Eiffel University have been tasked with leading the PEPR “Digitalization and Decarbonization of Mobility.”
Its goal is to mobilize the national research community and stakeholders in the transportation ecosystem to: understand and anticipate the movement of goods and people; help collect, organize, and interpret mobility data; and provide decision-support tools to simulate the impact of public policies in advance or assess the relevance of a new transportation offering.

MATSim User Meeting 2026 — Co-located with hEART 2026
The MATSim Association will hold its annual User Meeting on Monday, September 28, 2026, the day before hEART begins. MATSim is a leading open-source, agent-based transport simulation framework, and the meeting brings its community together to share recent work and hold the Association’s Annual General Meeting.
