The hEART 2026 program includes two main social events designed to encourage exchange, networking, and community building among participants: the Welcome Reception (Seine River Boat Tour), and the Gala Dinner. Participation in these events is included in the standard conference registration fee. Accompanying-person participation may be accepted, subject to availability and the conditions indicated on the registration page.
Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception will take place on Monday, 28 September 2026 at 18h45, following the PhD School and workshops. It will provide an opportunity for participants to meet the organizing committee, welcome new members of the hEART community, and start the symposium in a friendly atmosphere.
The event is planned as a two-hour cruise on the Seine, departing from Pont Neuf at 19:00 Sharp. Participants will enjoy a reception on board and a selection of amuse-bouches, with background music during the cruise.
Gala Dinner
The hEART 2026 Gala Dinner will be organized at Le Théâtre du Merveilleux, located within Les Pavillons de Bercy – Musée des Arts Forains in Paris on Tuesday, 29 September 2026 at 19h00. This distinctive venue offers an immersive setting inspired by historical fairground arts, mechanical music, scenographic lighting, and vintage attractions, creating a memorable Parisian atmosphere for the conference dinner.
